ink devil

Ink Devil

I sit again,

Heart stretched across a ream of paper,

A thin veneer.

Ink pulses under my skin

Black tinged blood seeps into paper

Carrying memories,

Ideas,

Hopes

Dreams,

Illusions.

I’m an Ink Devil

Word Dancer

a Popular Pariah

A face for every Eye and a voice for every ear

Spinning a personality around myself,

Black skin hidden as ink-blood pours to the page

Heart beats words out through wrists slit

A face forms, a smile, a joke

Extrovert to order,

Sensitive on request,

Ink Heart hidden beneath a veil of words

I sit again,

Heart stretched across a ream of paper,

A thin veneer.

The illusion is formed, smiling young man gets up from a table

Drop of ink blood drips to the floor,

Forms into a laugh and escapes on the wind

Ink-Devil

Word Dancer

Popular Pariah.

Extrovert to Order

Sensitive on request.

butterflies

Bright lights and swirling shades

Tapping feet and summer days

Shift to nights and then to dreams

Shining illusions ripped at the seams

Beautiful lies, fragile like wings

Of a shining butterfly, that dances and sings

Hope is fragile, easily lost

Easily shattered yet won at a cost

Though some still remains, tormenting a heart

Pleading for an end, though there wasn’t a start

Fragile dreams as a butterfly wing

Of a beautiful creature, that dances and sings

Shining colours and beautiful shades

Tapping feet and summer days

Shift to nights and tremulous dreams

Shining illusions, held by the seams

order and chaos

Following a very interesting blog comment from someone ive never met…

he (maybe she) pointed out that innocence is a vital part of our progression as a race, and i quite agree. They then raised an interesting point, that chaos is needed for order to become prevalent,

again i quite agree the contention is this, do we really need it? or for that matter either?

among most people i.e non-anarchists, order is seen as prefereble to chaos but this has made me think, is it really? would any of us wish to live in a truly mathematical world? one in which everything is ordered and planned? i know i wouldn’t, is it possible therefore that order is not the EVOLUTION of chaos, merely its opposite,

The basis of humanity is flux, change.  The ability, in effect, to choose, be it our career, our attitude, our lives,  whatever, this is about as chaotic as we can get and still live together, an interesting thought non? personally i think i’d like a little chaos and disorder in my life, keep me balanced, how about you??

innocence

We were all innocent once: basic assumption no:1

we all have lost, or will soon lose that innocence somewhere along the way: basic assumption no:2

the question is… is this a good thing or a bad thing?

its a recurring dream “if only i knew then what i knew know” or otherwise put, if i knew what that girl, song, post, essay, copmment etc was going to get me into it.

the thing is should we regret the past? or except it as part of ourselves? would a happier dream to be NOT to know now what we didn’t know then?

and would we be less as a people if we did?

innocence? good or bad?

naievity verses cynacism, what do people think? just a thought.

see y’all

This months Big fat stupidity awards first candidate also arrived,

Richard Graves with the “I plan to test the theory that i can firmly shove my foot into my own mouth”

kudos given to Abbi for not clocking him one

lament for violet

lament for violet

Bath has officially lost its character,

not only has both the faerie shop AND shrinking violets closed down but now stone the crows is too!

granted these shops did not get a huge amount of custom

but that isn’t the point really…

theh were both quintessentially BATH, random shops tucked into corners that were completely Zany and out of this world

government subsidies should have been employed here!!

ah me, the perils of the capitalist world

soo…a farewell lament to alternate shops everywhere being pushed out by burton and top shop *spits*
